Godzilla (Gojira) is a 1954 Japanese kaiju film featuring Godzilla, produced and distributed by Toho. It is the first film of the Godzilla franchise and the first film of its Showa series.

The film is directed by Ishiro Honda, with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya and stars Akira Takarada, Momoko Kochi, Akihiko Hirata, Takashi Shimura, with Haruo Nakajima and Katsumi Tezuka as the performers for Godzilla. Nakajima would go on to portray the character until his retirement in 1972 (he passed away in 2017).

In 1956, TransWorld Releasing Corporation and Embassy Pictures released Godzilla, King of the Monsters, a heavily re-edited Americanized version of the original film with additional footage featuring Raymond Burr. In 2004, Rialto Pictures gave the 1954 film a limited theatrical release in the U.S. to coincide with the franchise's 50th anniversary.

This 13" scale figure in the popular 30 cm series continues the development of Godzilla's size and mass.

Important Shipping Note: A DIM Weight surcharge as required by USPS for large boxes of relatively low weight is added to the shipping cost.

Collectors Note: As with all X-Plus Previews Exclusive figures, it comes packaged in a brown box with exclusive sticker as shown. These go fast as this series is among the most popular produced anywhere!
