Karloff as The Mummy Life-Size Bust Numbered Prototype

Designed, hand-crafted and signed by the artist, this numbered life-size prototype bust of Boris Karloff brings to life his classic 1932 role as The Mummy.

This high-end custom piece stands roughly 16 inches tall. The base is actual oak wood with a papyrus type graphic over the top.

The Mummy name-plate is resin and painted to replicate turquoise stone. The edging applied to the base features matching turquoise accents. The entire base was painstakingly distressed and aged to look 3,000 years old, like it was just unearthed out of the desert in Egypt. A resin pyramid and metal rod support the bust. The bottom of the base is numbered and signed by the artist. Number 3 and 4 busts available.

The bust can be turned and swiveled to adjust to the profile you prefer. The head is a resin shell roughly 1/8 inch thick fully painted in Mummy browns and grays.

Actual gauze bandages were added to the neck for realism and even some torn pieces are hanging loose. This design took weeks to originally sculpt, and the piece took several days to complete.

Every bust is of the same design and quality but no two are exactly alike since they are handmade and painted.
