Sideshow Collectibles Frankenstein Silver Screen Edition 12 inch figure with portrait sculpted by artist Oluf W. Hartvigson. One of the first Universal Monsters figures produced by Sideshow! Very hard to find and no longer available in stores!

This incredibly detailed figure in true-to-the-film black and white features the likeness of Boris Karloff as Frankenstein's Monster in the role that made him famous. Includes chains, abnormal brain and jar, daisies and figure stand.

Universal Studios created and truly defined the horror film genre beginning in the 1920s. Among Universal's most legendary stars was Karloff, whose careeer spanned nearly 60s years during which he appeared in about 170 films.

The 1931 film Frankenstein (also available here at is the story of a tragic scientific experiment by Dr. Frankenstein in his attempt to create human life. The resulting monster he creates out of body parts and a criminal brain tries desperately to be understood and accepted with horrifying results.
