Mark of the Vampire, starring Bela Lugosi, Lionel Barrymore, Elizabeth Allan and Lionel Atwill. Very rare and out of print. The residents of a tiny village are terrorized by mysterious, bloodsucking denizens of the dark. It's up to the local professor to stop the hellish creatures. Directed by master of the macabre Tod Browning (Dracula, Freaks), this is a classic scarer with a startling twist. Academy Award-winning Barrymore plays a local professor called in to investigate the strange murder of Sir Karell, who died with puncture marks in his neck and his body drained of blood. Soon, Sir Karell's daughter and future son-in-law are also victims of apparent vampire attacks. Lugosi plays Count Mora, who proves that sometimes a vampire can be much more than it appears. Many horror film fans don't realize Count Dracula wasn't Lugosi's only vampire role! Collector's note: This VHS video is brand-new and not available on DVD.
