This incredibly detailed figure features the likeness of Lon Chaney as the memorable Phantom. Includes separate head as Erik, cape and stand. 12 points of articulation.
Universal Studios created and truly defined the horror film genre beginning in the 1920s. Among Universal's most legendary silent stars during this time was Chaney, who was known as the Man of a Thousand Faces and was the father of another Universal legend, Lon Chaney Jr.
The 1925 silent film The Phantom of the Opera (also available here at MyMovieMonsters.com) is the story of Erik, who lurks in the hidden and elaborate catacombs beneath the Paris Opera House, driven by revenge and desparate for love.
Collectors Note: You must choose your preferred style and packaging condition at the drop-down menu above. "Red Tie Variant" version features a bright red tie and cummerbund as part of the Phantom's tuxedo outfit. An unknown quantity of these were issued but the vast majority had the regular dark tie design.
Also, we offer an unreported (as far as we know) packaging variant: it contains the regular "dark tie" Phantom but the extra head is packaged on the right side of the packaging vs. on the left side like all the other regular versions.
All our collectible figures are brand-new and never removed from the display box unless noted in the individual product listing. For a detailed explanation of our grading system concerning the display packaging condition, see the Store Policies button at the top of our home page.
