This incredibly detailed figure features a likeness of one of the mole men from the 1956 Universal Studios release The Mole People. Includes five mushrooms (yummy!), gathering sack and figure stand.
Universal Studios created and truly defined the horror film genre beginning in the 1920s. However, it was in the 1950s that the studio expanded their subject matter to include science fiction.
The Mole People is a story of three archeologists who, while on an expedition, discover an ancient race of people. These ancient people have lived underground for centuries, adapting to the dark and enslaving mutant mole men to harvest their food.
The archaeologists are soon mistaken for gods because of their "magical cylinders of fire" (flashlights). Trouble begins as the archaeologists use their godly power to protect the servants and mole people from being abused. Will the humans be able to escape before their flashlight batteries run out?
