The razor claws of Freddy Krueger's knife-adorned glove have shredded their way through the dreams of children for years. Elm Street has long been the haunt of Freddy,who was first known as the Springwood Slasher - a murderer who stalked the streets by night. Freddy was eventually arrested, and then subsequently set free. Outraged, the parents of Springwood took matters into their own vengeful hands, and torched Krueger alive. Though his physical body was destroyed, dark forces granted his evil spirit the power to live on ... in the nightmares of the children on Elm Street.
Having been defeated many time over, the children of Springwood have forgotten about Freddy, and without their fear, Krueger's powers are dwindling. After searching through the depths of Hell, Freddy comes across Jason Voorhees, the hockey mask-wearing killer of Camp Crystal Lake. Freddy resurrects the undead stalker once again, in the hopes the terror he creates will feed Krueger's power enough so he too can take part in the slaying. But when the body count rises too high, Freddy must put a stop to Jason's killing spree if he is to have any victims left for himself! Now the ultimate battle between evil and evil begins, and nothing can stand in the way of these two titans of terror!
